Rolled Oats Almond Granola Recipe

Here is one of my favorite granola recipes. You are going to love the sweet crunch of this healthy granola recipe as you bite into the tasty almonds and rolled oats. This granola recipe is sweetened by maple syrup and malt syrup, giving this recipe a delicious malt-style flavor. The almond extract and vanilla extract in this granola recipe also contribut to its unique, wonderful flavor. Containing many important healthy nutrients, this granola is great as a breakfast to start the day, or as an afternoon snack to keep your energy up and keep you feeling healthy.

Granola Recipe Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 3 cups almonds, chopped
  • 3 cups sunflower seeds
  • 1 cup safflower oil
  • 1/2 cup malt syrup extract
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tablespoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • pinch of ground cloves

Granola Recipe Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  2. In large bowl mix oats, almonds, sunflower seeds, cinnamon, and cloves
  3. In another bowl mix liquid ingredients together well
  4. Pour liquid ingredients over dry ingredients, mixing well
  5. Spread evenly on two 9x12 pans for 25 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden
  6. Allow to cool
