Raisin-Almond Crunchies (Granola Recipe)

This granola recipe combines the goodness and health benefits of rolled oats, almonds and sesame seeds, with the sweet refreshing taste of shredded coconut. These flavors combine in this granola recipe to provide a healthy granola, rich in fiber, but without comprimising taste. Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • Nonstick cooking spray
  • 3 cups organic rolled oats
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup sliced almonds
  • 3/4 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/3 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 6 tbsp packed brown sugar
  • 6 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp warm water
  • 1 pinch salt

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Spray nonstick cooking spray lightly on rimmed baking sheet
  3. Toss oats, almonds, coconut, and sesame seeds in large bowl
  4. Whisk maple syrup, brown sugar, water, salt and oil in small bowl
  5. Stir syrup mix and oat mix together.
  6. Spread evenly on baking sheet
  7. Bake until golden brown, stirring as necesssary. (approx. 75 minutes)
  8. After cooling, move to large bowl.
  9. Add raisins and mix
