- 1/3 cup Boiling water
- 2 tbsp Corn syrup
- 2 1/2 cup Rolled oats
- 2/3 cup Sugar
- 1 cup nonfat dry milk

- 1/4 cup Coconut, flaked
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Wheat germ, toasted
- 1/4 cup chopped almonds
- 2 tbsp Oil, vegetable
- 1/2 cup Prunes, pitted and chopped
- 1 cup Raisins
- 1/2 cup Apricots, dried and chopped
Granola Recipe Directions:
- Mix sugar and water in medium bowl
- Stir in corn syrup and milk, beating with electric mixer for 2 minutes
- Cover and place in refrigerator for at least 1 hour
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees
- Combine wheat flakes, wheat germ, coconut, salt, oats, and almonds in large bowl
- Stir in milk mixture and oil, mixing together thoroughly

- Bake 40 to 50 minutes, stirring occasionally, until golden
- Stir in prunes, apricots, and raisins
