Low Fat Granola Recipe

Granola Recipe Ingredients:

  • 10 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 1 cup apple juice or apple cider
  • 1 cup dark raisins
  • 1 cup apricots, dried
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds
  • 1 1/2 tbsp ground cinnamon

Granola Recipe Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  2. Heat apple juice, and honey together in microwave
  3. In a large bowl combine walnuts, sesame seeds, cinnamon, and oats, mixing well
  4. Pour liquid mixture over dry mixture, mixing thoroughly
  5. Spread mixture evenly onto jelly roll pan
  6. Bake for 20 minutes, mixing occasionally
  7. While still warm, mix in raisins and apricots, or other dried fruit
  8. Allow to cool
