- 5 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup almonds, sliced
- 1 cup broken walnut meats
- 1 cup unsalted sunflower seeds
- 1 cup safflower oil
- 1 cup honey
- 1 cup sesame seeds
- 1 cup wheat germ
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup currants
Granola Recipe Directions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- In a large bowl combine oats, nuts, seeds, wheat germ, and coconut, mixing well
- Heat oil and honey together in a saucepan, mixing well
- Pour liquid ingredients over dry ingredients, mixing well
- Spread granola evenly onto cookie sheets
- Bake for 20 minutes, until golden
- Allow to cool
- Mix in raisins and currants
