Energizing Granola Bar Recipe

This granola bar recipe delivers healthy nutrients to energize your body and keep you running strong for any type of physical activity from mountain biking, to a nice morning stroll through the neighborhood.

Granola Recipe Ingredients:
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1/2 cup wheat germ
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3/4 cup golden raisins
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 egg, beaten
Granola Recipe Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- Mix oats, wheat germ, cinnamon, brown sugar, flour, raisins, and salt in large bowl
- Pour in honey, egg, vanilla, and oil, mixing well using wooden spoon and hands
- Spread the mixture evenly into greased 9x13-inch baking pan
- Bake for 30 minutes, until golden
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes
- Cut into bars
- Allow to cool completely
